Artist Statement
Have you ever put yourself in a different place far away from reality, a dreamland you could escape to whenever you pleased? Have you ever wished your dream could actually come to life? For me, my work is a reflection of my imagination brought to life. My dreams, emotions, and thoughts are the fuel for the illustrations, digital prints, interfaces, and animations I create. My work frequently suggets vibrant colors, abstract elements, repetition, and simplistic ideas while still presenting a whirlwind of emotions for not only me, but the audience as well. An important objective of my work is to let the audience experience the same emotions and thoughts that I go through in creating each piece. I never want the audience to walk away empty handed.
